Utilities Superintendent and Acting GM

This is a management position responsible for daily supervision of the field operations of the District, including Construction Department, Wastewater Collection Department, Water Department, and Water Reclamation Department. The employee of this classification works directly for the General Manager and is responsible for implementation of Board of Trustees and General Manager actions and initiatives.

Supervisor WWTP/Website Administrator

This is a skilled position responsible for on-site supervision of the technical operations and maintenance of the Gale Road Environmental Control Facility. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Environmental Control Facility as well as the supervision of the employees assigned to the Environmental Control Facility. The General Manager or Assistant General Manager may consult with and generally review the work performed by this employee, however due to the responsible nature of this position minimal supervision should be required. Mel is a Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator and Class 3 Water Supply Operator.

Operator III - WWTP

This is a skilled position responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Gale Road Environmental Control Facility. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Environmental Control Facility?s chemical feed systems, facility control systems and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure proper condition. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under general supervision. Employees of this classification are expected to demonstrate a basic level of self-supervision. Josh is a Class 1 Wastewater Treatment Operator.

Operator III - WWTP

This is a skilled position responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Gale Road Environmental Control Facility. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Environmental Control Facility?s chemical feed systems, facility control systems and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure proper operating condition. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under general supervision. Employees of this classification are expected to demonstrate a basic level of self-supervision. CJ is a Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator, a Class 3 Water Supply Operator, and Class 1 Laboratory Technician.

Supervisor - Collection System

Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Wastewater Collection System as well as the supervision of the employees assigned to the Wastewater Collection System Department. The General Manager or Assistant General Manager may consult with and generally review the work performed by this employee, however due to the responsible nature of this position minimal supervision should be required. Matt is a Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator and Class 1 Water Supply Operator.

Operator III -Collection System

This is a skilled position responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Collection System including pump stations, gravity sewers, and forcemains. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the wastewater collection system including pump stations, gravity sewers, and forcemains. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under general supervision. Employees of this classification are expected to demonstrate a basic level of self-supervision. Rick is a Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator.

Supervisor Water System

This is a skilled position responsible for the on-site supervision and technical operation and maintenance of the York Road Water Treatment Facility. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Water System and the daily supervision of the employees assigned to the Water System. Employees of this classification are under direction of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. However due to the responsible nature of this position minimal supervision should required. CJ is a Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator, a Class 3 Water Supply Operator, and Class 1 Laboratory Technician.

Operator I - Water System

This is a skilled position responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the York Road Water Treatment Facility and Distribution System. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water distribution system and the York Road Water Treatment Facility's chemical feed systems; facility control systems and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure proper operation. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under general supervision. Employees of this classification are expected to demonstrate a moderate level of self-supervision. Chris is a Class 1 Water Supply Operator.

Operator I - Water System

This is a skilled position responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the York Road Water Treatment Facility and Distribution System. Employees of this classification are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water distribution system and the York Road Water Treatment Facility's chemical feed systems; facility control systems and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure proper operation. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under general supervision. Employees of this classification are expected to demonstrate a moderate level of self-supervision. Josh Smith is a Class I Water Supply Operator

Operator - In - Training

This is a semi-skilled position responsible for assiting the water system operators in the daily operations and maintenance of the York Road Water Treatment Facility and Distribution System. Employees of this classification are responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the Water Treatment Facility and Distribution System; facility controls systems and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure proper condition. The work follows a daily routine and is generally performed under specific supervision of the assigned operator(s).
